My Fashion Addiction

I am a Fashion Addict. I go window shopping when ever I can get the chance. And a lot of those times I am mentally spending my check before I have the money in my hand. Yes those are words of an addict.

Yes Yes every girl should be into Fashion and most of them are. But there are those girls that eat,sleep and breath fashion and yes I fall right into that category. And I love it. I like to look at someones Outfit and dress them over in my mind of what piece they shouldn't have put on and what they could have added. It is like living in a perfect world.

Then someone told me "Fashion is not a career". First it was like that stupid pause that use to occur on "save the bell" when Zach would talk about what ever random thing that was going on. Then it was like "Humph now if you could only hear the words that I am saying in my head". Of course those words never rolled off of my tongue because I am "lady like", but if i had they would have thought twice about saying something like that to someone else. Why? or how? in the world are there still people stuck in a bubble about Fashion.

My first real thought about that is clothing is Fashion, no matter if you have a style or you put them together thoughtfully. At the end of the day someone still took the time to design and get those items manufactured. Even if it was for boring old you.

My second thought is please can we come back to reality. If there was no Fashion you would be naked. Even at one point Adam & Eve had to throw something together, because they were naked. And yes may it have been palms from a palm tree or fig leaves; that was still fashion no not fashion as we know it but that was the start of it all.

My third thought is where would this world be without fashion, the models, the designers, seamstress, illustrators and so forth. There would be no magazine pictures to look at. People wouldn't have ads to sell there products. It would just be here this is my product nothing pretty or fancy about it, but I need you to buy it.

And those are the nice words that I would have said to this person stuck in a bubble from lets say the 1900's. Our world is geared by the Fashion Industry please lets not forget this. And Yes this is From the Fashion Addict herself.


So I will continue to Live the life of a Fashion Addict and No I will not go to Rehab.
