Girls Night Out!!!!!!!!!!!
That spur of the moment get together happened last Thursday night, when one of my close friends and I decided just to meet up in the city. The Rebecca School was planning "A Girl's Night Out" to raise funds for children with Autism. We decided to go and support the cause.
And when I say that it was like any Fashionistas dream I wouldn't be lying; especially the girl that loves to dabble in a little this and that. The Tables were set up perfectly, jewelry, hand bags & shoes, even fashion photos. It was like being five in the candy store and all you had was a dollar. Yes and with that dollar you wanted to buy the whole store. Well that was me on Thursday; my fascination with all things art had me spending my check again before I even had the money in my hand.
Spa Table
There were a few specific tables that I couldn't keep my eyes off of:
There was Corey Michelle who let me tell you wowed me. Her jewelry was not only breath taking but unique. Her choice of lace, metals and beads made any girl wish they owned an original. I know that the fashion addict in me is still drooling over one of her pieces from her fall line. And yes I will be purchasing it this week (photos soon) and will wear it to the next event that I am going to. Which will be Divas with a purpose "Little Black Dress Dinner" you can check them out on http://meetup.com/divaspurpose .
Here is some of the items that she had for the "Girls Night Out"

The concept is that they take a glass stone, cut the back piece out and then hand carves a flower inside of it. The stone is then hand painted creating the look of a pressed flower. Just the concept alone and the way it was explained to me was amazing.

The third table that caught my eye was a fashion illustration table. The illustrators name was Brooke Hagel. It was amazing to me how Brooke took her love for illustrating fashion to create fashionable chic items; such as mirrors, notebooks, bookmarks and so forth. Simply with a stroke of a pen and marker beauty came alive. By the Looks of things Brooke is really doing her thing, very inspiring.

Then the last table that wowed with was set up with different kind of scarves. One scarf in particular caught my eye, and this was because it reminded me of the movie "confessions of a shopaholic" starring Isla Fisher and Hugh Dancy. The "girl in the green scarf ", this really completed the night. Then when the scarf is unraveled it has these vibrant prints and it's elegant and creative. I was so in LOVE with this scarf and a few others that was laid out on the table. Like I said before this Night was any Fashionistas Dream.
A dash of elegance, a pinch of spice, a little creative flavor THAT'S FASHION!!!!!
The Turnout was good, the wine was exquisite, and the Vendors were amazing. This by far was the perfect Girl's Night Out!!!
Overall it was networking, it was fashion. It was a great time with different women who held a variety of different talents. All for a good cause they came together to raise funds for the children. So In love with the idea to bring fashion and fundraising together. It was a beyond brilliant, and I am sure there was a good amount of money raised for the children.
JUST MARVELOUS!!!
I am looking forward to attend many more events over the course of this summer.
