Photo_Shoot 101
- Always Always have a fitting, at least one before the photoshoot.
- Make sure you have a stylist, a designer has enough to worry about.
- Make sure to have a team of people, more then one MUA, Hairstylist,Intern etc. ( you will need all hands to help make the shoot run smoothly)
- Have all outfits planned out with the stylist & MUA from accessories down to shoes, as well as the make-up look for each model.
- Always have models sign contracts, even if they are just volunteer models. People seem to take things more serious once they sign on the dotted line.
- Make sure to have a emergency sewing kit, for just that an emergency. We don't need a oops to happen as the camera's are flicking away.
- Check all garments the night before, make sure no hanging strings, holes, & all garments are pressed.
- Always have waters, & a light snack. So that the models energy levels can stay up.
- Always be prepared for the worst, something can go wrong but if you are prepared it can easily be fixed.
- If using a outdoor location, check the weather each day for any chances of rain or bad weather to prepare to change the location if need be.
- Make sure if you are using a outdoor location to get a permit, you do not want your shoot to get shut down midway.
- Test the area with your photographer a few days before, so that you can get a feel of how the photo-shoot will go.
- Make sure to crew clean up the area once the shoot is done.
