Q&Q

Will it be Quality or Quantity?  Hmmmmmm???

Yes the famous Q words, I do dare to go there. This is a big question in any Fashionable girls' life, or any one's life for that matter. I will take you through my version of how I learned to deal with this.
First growing up (or should I say when I started spending my hard earned money and not my parents hard earned money) I would always shop for Quantity and not really care about the quality. I thought if you had more, the better. This is not a true statement. The fact of the matter is you can buy twenty cheap shirts that cost $5-$10. Not only would be cheap in value but cheap in quality. There for nine times out of ten, you are going to keep purchasing more shirts; instead of having the one that will last you for years. So instead of buying a whole bunch of cheap items, buy that one good suit and dress it up/dress it down. You can create a whole outfit behind a good garment.

Now you think I would give you a lesson without a treat. Let me tell you the fab finds that I have.

Some of my fav. Stores to shop:

Hennes & Marautiz A.K.A H&M
Yes, they are first on my top ten. Not only are they affordable but they are with the latest trends. They also collaborate with top designers twice a year to bring high fashion at a affordable rate to its biggest fans.

H&M has managed a total of 7 successful designer collaborations
Ø  Karl Lagerfeld in 2004
Ø  The Jimmy Choo label (shoes, bags and clothing) for fall 2009.
Ø  Matthew Williamson for summer 2009
Ø  One-off limited edition capsule collections from Stella McCartney (2005),
Ø  Viktor & Rolf (2006),
Ø  Roberto Cavalli (2007)

Ø  Rei Kawakubo of the avante-garde Japanese label                                                                   Comme des Garçons (Fall 2008).
All proved to be sell-out successes.
Now do you see why I love this store?
Most Shopped items: Accessories, dresses, tops, denim, lingerie, outerwear, handbags

Arden B.

Wait Wait Wait. Don't get scared. Trust me I know we are still in a recession. Arden B. has great style and they are a higher end store then most of the others I may mention. But don't shy away, sales is all I need to say.

If you see a sale tag on their store front window; Do go inside you might get a pleasant surprise. When Arden B.  Has sales, prices are usually chopped down so low you might think they are going out of business. Not so, so if you don't believe me try it for yourself. Wish you would. ;D

Most Shopped Items: dresses, tops, accessories

Next on my list

Forever21

Yes a lot of people still believe forever21 is a baby H&M.( I may have thought the same thing before) Seeing they popped out around the same time all the other mass manufacturing stores came out. But this is not true.

Forever21 may have a very similar style but it has a different flava. Because immediately I can tell the difference between the two stores. While I see H&M geared towards a RnB/Pop star Forever21 is defiantly a RocknRoll/ Pop kind of girl.

Most Shopped Items: accesories, dresses, tops, skirts, handbags, pants

Mmmmhmmmmmm????

I lied I don't have a top ten, I just shop. I love going into random boutiques and buying something no one else has, I like to look different.
One day we will shop together, and I will take you to all my boutiques with me. Wouldn't that be Fun?

Until next time Fashionistas!!!! =D

{Jaded Advice- If you question a garment more than once while shopping, nine times out of ten you will return it.  I like to be sure when I shop}
