Giving It All To Him
Happy Sunday!!!
Today I pray for the world we live in. I know many know of the case agaisnt George Zimmerman the neighborhood watch man in Florida that shot in killed an unarmed young black man. Well on yesterday he was found not guilty. And as my shoulders sage, and my head is bowed low I ask God to send peace that past all understanding to his family. (Phil. 4:7)

A post I did after finding out the verdict. |
I woke up this morning Angry that things clearly haven't changed. We live in a false sense of equality as Black/African American people. Many want us to believe this case not to be about race. No it is not about black and white, because George Zimmerman is of Hispanic heritage. But it is about the value of the black man to the American people.
How can someone be found not guilty of killing a innocent man? How when they were in-pursuit of the person they were told not to follow? How is that considered self-defense?
But we must go back and look and see why we should not be surprised with the verdict on yesterday. It was over a month before charges were even filed against Zimmerman, and that is because people demanded it. So why should be surprised that the same man I they didnt want to bring up on charges is a free man today.

But we are surprised, because we thought that there was hope. And as rage begins to settle deep in the heart we have to give it all to the Lord. The same God who has the final word, the ultimate judge. We not not go out and riot, become vigilantes for the cause. But we must stand tall together, with our eyes to the Lord and know vengeance is his. (Romans 12:19)
